I have to agree about A Sword In Her Hand (which was, by the way, translated by John Nieuenhausen, husband of our local chdi9renl;s book guru, Agnes Nieuenhausen). It's beautiful writing and believable history and who is to say the young duchess wasn't like that? I was going to donate it to my library, but couldn't part with it!
